The Summer Drama Club is a fun and creative week of acting, creative skills, and teamwork.
With drama games, acting exercises, and character work at the heart of the experience, students will enjoy developing their performance skills while working together to create a piece of theatre. Everyone will have the chance to take part – whether they’re new to drama or love having the opportunity to perform.
This summer, the focus will be more on acting and storytelling. The performance project will be shaped around the group – we haven’t chosen a specific piece yet, as we want to include student suggestions and adapt to the number and interests of those taking part. Suggestions are welcome from all that sign up.
The club will be led by resident acting coach and Drama Practitioner, Mr Brockwell.
The final performance will take place at 3:00pm on Friday – parents are warmly invited to attend our relaxed sharing of work.
What to bring: It’s important to wear comfortable clothing and trainers suitable for the active nature of the week.
